In September 2014, Veolia signed a contract with Hongwon Paper to operate its boiler facility and to supply steam for a period of 10 years. The collaboration is an AOT (Acquire–Operate–Transfer) project in which Veolia would be handling the O&M of the boiler and auxiliary facilities in order to supply steam to the client. Petroleum coke is used as the main fuel. The client, Hongwon Paper, produces paper products with a focus on printing.
