Veolia Korea participated as a speaker at major sustainability forums held on May 19th and 21st, sharing our innovative vision towards Ecological Transformation.

May 19: Korea-EU Clean Energy Technology Forum

Hosted by the EU Delegation to the Republic of Korea, this forum emphasized the importance of clean energy technologies aligned with the EU Net-Zero Industry Act and Korea's green transition strategy. Key cooperative measures between the two regions for carbon neutrality and the advancement of the clean tech industry were discussed.

Hervé Péneau, CEO of Veolia Korea, introduced practical solutions for ecological transformation by showcasing Korean projects with major industrial clients for energy efficiency, wood biomass energy, and biogas recovery from wastewater.

Veolia's leadership was highlighted at this forum, held under the theme of 'Korea-EU New Trade Partnership & Sustainability Innovation.' Organized by KEY and KITA and sponsored by Veolia Korea, the event featured insights from our experts.

Nicolas Lejeune, CTO of Veolia Korea, shared successful cases of Veolia's innovative technologies driving carbon neutrality and the circular economy across the water treatment, waste management, and energy efficiency sectors.

Following this, CEO Hervé Péneau presented successful sustainability management strategies that leverage internal digital technologies and AI innovations, emphasizing that “regulation is to improve the solutions, not the risk.”
