We are pleased to announce the successful hand-over ceremony of the new wood biomass boiler facility at Samyang Foods' Wonju plant.
Following the Green Steam Supply contract signed in November 2024, the facility has officially commenced commercial operation this December after installation and commissioning efforts that began in mid-June. This project features a capacity to supply 30 tons per hour of green steam using wood pellets and is expected to deliver a 45% reduction in carbon emissions for the Wonju plant's operations.
Through this 15-year partnership, we will support Samyang Foods' ambitious target to reduce CO2 emissions by 30% by 2030. This project represents a significant milestone, demonstrating how industrial leaders can successfully balance rapid growth with environmental responsibility.
